SetUp for Success

As I wrote in a previous article about Holidays and Family, I want to continue with that theme as I discuss this Upcoming year. December is a month of SetUps!

Many people set up trees for Christmas and there are some who set up for Hanukkah and Kwanzaa. Whatever you may or may not celebrate, this is still a “Season of SetUps” for many people, including you. We all will make decisions as we thrive forward towards the New Year, in hope for some New Things to occur in ourselves/our lives.

I humbly suggest that you make this time a productive time of anticipation for good things. Like the arrival of a New Birth (a child); may we all prepare a place to receive the gift of something new in our lives. As the saying goes, “if you fail to plan, you plan to fail.” Help yourself and those around you (family, friends, co-workers) to get ready to obtain something different, something new, by setting your mind on better.

Again, many of us will make room and rearrange things as we setup decorations in our home to show we are celebrating the Holydays. In order for this time to be enjoyed by family and friends, for us to have successful gatherings, we must prepare our homes and hearts, and position ourselves to receive. We are getting ready to receive the Newness associated with this set time of the year.
