A Fool's Heart

April 1, 2018

“The fool has said in his heart, 'There is no God.'” (Ps 14:1 & 53:1)

It has been my experience that someone who says things in their heart—carries a lot weight. Not only does “it” carry a lot of weight, but people have placed value on that thing.

Heart issues are very powerful and everyone isn’t equipped to handle the heart with care. Meaning we must value and cherish what we hold in our hearts. According to Proverbs 4:23, all of life's issues flow from the heart.

When we have issues that have us acting certain ways we need to be very careful how we talk or refer to those who are here to help us. God isn’t our enemy. He is not upset with us. God is our ever-present help. When we reject good we are acting foolishly. To say in our heart that no one cares, especially God; more than likely comes from a place of hurt, and we need healing.

With all the “heart issues” both physically and emotionally, we need specialists, and we need all the right help we can get. Specialists are always called in on extremely difficult cases, and I would say we are in need of them now.

Now is not the time to reject good help; to reject help from a loving, caring Father is foolish. Let us accept help and take it to our heart.
Hurting hearts need help. Don’t be foolish.
